Corrections preserve history while fixing accounting records.

Current desktop availability

Correction preparation, protected reversal and adjustment posting, and immutable correction-chain review are implemented behind services. The current desktop has no supported Corrections entry point, so the guidance below is a scope summary rather than an operating procedure.

Workflow family placement: Correction & Conversion Controls.

  • Use reversals for entries that must be undone.
  • Use adjustments when the intent or amount changes.
  • Record the reason for every correction.
